Position Title: Analyst or Associate, Private Equity



Status: Full-Time

The Position

Forum is currently seeking a highly motivated and innovative Senior Analyst or Junior Associate to join its Transaction Team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performance team experiencing rapid growth with a strong pipeline of investment opportunities. The candidate will be exposed to a fast-paced and exciting environment and will have the opportunity to work closely with senior team members to evaluate and structure complex transactions.


  • Develop complex financial models to allow for the analysis, sensitivities and valuation of investment opportunities
  • Work with senior team members to develop and optimize transaction structures and corporate financing solutions, including a variety of debt and equity financing structures
  • Support deal teams in the coordination and execution of new acquisitions and investments as an integral member of the team
  • Conduct research and analysis of public and private sector companies, industry and market data, equity and debt capital markets, and other investments in North America
  • Support due diligence activities and prepare internal and external memos, presentations, reports and proposals


  • Two – four years’ experience as an Analyst or Associate within the Investment Banking, Private Equity or Management Consulting sectors or other corporate finance function in the energy or infrastructure sector
  • Strong financial modelling capabilities
  • Relevant degree with outstanding academic performance (preference for Finance or Accounting degrees)
  • Track record of extracurricular and community involvement
  • Ability to multi-task and think through complex problems with a demonstrated ability to solve problems creatively
  • High attention to detail and accuracy and commitment to the deal
  • Outstanding written and oral presentation skills
  • Positive attitude and entrepreneurial drive to participate in a growing business
